a) PERSISTENT COOKIES
Persistent cookies (or stored or permanent cookies) remain saved to the user’s computer even after closing the web browser. b.1) ANALYTICS COOKIES
Analytics cookies are combined with the technical cookies when used directly by the webmaster, to collect information, in an aggregated form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself. Such anonymous cookies gather information on how the website is used and allow the website’s owner to better get to know the users and to improve the website’s functionality (for example: the pages visited, the errors users might come across, how many users are using the services so as to provide the necessary capacity for quick navigation).
