LMI and RUGBY PARMA team up until 2017!

SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FIRM AND THE SPORTS CLUB, BOTH EXPANDING RAPIDLY
A growing sports club, especially in the youth sector, and a continuously expanding company that restyled its headquarters a few months ago. These common factors, associated with the desire to focus heavily on young people in both areas, are key to sealing the sponsorship agreement until 2017 between Rugby Parma and LMI, a company based in Mezzani for thirteen years which specialises in the production of plant-based polymers for cold working metals and, in particular, in the household appliance, automotive and refrigeration sectors.
“We are delighted”, says Fabrizio Rebecchi, vice-president of Rugby Parma, “that we have been able to get in contact with LMI. This agreement is excellent news for us because our mini rugby sector extends beyond the natural borders of the city. We have set up activities to support education and take physical education through rugby into different schools in the province”. The other vice-president, Maurizio Paterno, shares this opinion, “For quite some time now”, he states, “we have become attractive again to businesses in the area, a tie that had weakened somewhat from 2010 onwards. LMI invests heavily in our activities, especially in mini rugby: the area that we are most interested in and which currently has over 350 members”. Carmeni Francesco, the CEO of LMI, commented, “We chose rugby because it is still a clean sport and Rugby Parma because it is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Italy. We were keen to associate our company’s name with an organisation bearing the name of Parma. We believe in this club’s project that focuses on young people and dialogues with schools. Our corporate philosophy is also focused on young people”. The partnership was also welcomed by the mayor of Mezzani, Romeo Azzali, “As an administrative organisation, we are pleased that a local company has invested in the renewal of its headquarters and shares the results of the success of its work with local sports clubs, such as Rugby Parma”.
